BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Piyush has more than 14 years of experience. After a long stint in the healthcare industry, he pursued his interest in academics. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at IIHMR, Bangalore. Prior to this, he has worked in Healthcare consulting for healthcare and life sciences practice for South Asia, Middle East and Africa region with a global consulting firm, advising clients in strategic growth, merger & acquisitions, business process consulting, operations & management, strategic expansion in various areas of healthcare delivery and hospitals. Piyush worked with some of large healthcare groups in India at various strategic roles managing hospital purchase, operations excellence, hospital planning, growth strategy, setting up new team and facilities along with planning, commissioning and managing the medical services of Buddh International Circuit India’s only formula one racing track.
