Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – IIHMR Foundation

Role Overview: The CEO will spearhead IIHMR Startups into its next growth phase, driving sustainable funding, amplifying its influence in the health-tech startup ecosystem, and creating a robust entrepreneurial support framework. This role calls for a visionary leader with expertise in startup incubation, venture funding, and strategic partnerships to establish IIHMR Startups as a leading health-tech incubator.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proven ability to secure funding and forge strategic partnerships.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare startup ecosystem, venture capital, and innovation frameworks.
• Expertise in scaling startups, building entrepreneurial networks, and managing multi-stakeholder collaborations.
• Outstanding leadership, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
• Passion for driving entrepreneurship and innovation.

Required Experience

• 10+ years in startup incubation, venture funding, business scaling, or leadership roles in innovation-driven organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Innovation Leadership

• Develop and execute a long-term growth roadmap for IIHMR Startups.
• Position IIHMR as a premier health-tech incubator on national and global stages.
• Identify emerging healthcare innovation trends and align offerings to market needs.
• Create new revenue streams through paid acceleration programs, corporate partnerships, and innovation labs.

Fundraising & Financial Sustainability

• Secure funding via venture capital, government grants, corporate partnerships, and industry collaborations.
• Develop financial models for long-term sustainability and revenue growth.
• Cultivate relationships with investors, donors, and stakeholders to expand resources.
• Optimize resource allocation for maximum impact and efficiency.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Startup Acceleration & Portfolio Growth

• Design and implement incubation and acceleration programs for early-stage health-tech startups.
• Provide mentorship, market access, funding opportunities, and regulatory support.
• Refine startup selection criteria to prioritize high-potential ventures.
• Monitor startup progress to enable scalable growth and commercialization.
• Build an ecosystem of mentors, investors, and experts to support startups.

Ecosystem Development & Strategic Partnerships

• Establish partnerships with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare institutions, and government bodies.
• Drive engagement with research institutions, universities, and industry leaders for knowledge exchange.
• Represent IIHMR Startups at key forums, conferences, and policy discussions to enhance brand visibility.
• Build a robust network of mentors, investors, and industry experts.

Operational Excellence & Team Leadership

• Ensure seamless execution of incubation programs with a focus on high-impact outcomes.
• Lead and mentor a dynamic team of incubation managers, mentors, and advisors.
• Implement governance frameworks and best practices for decision-making and risk management.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and impact-driven work.
• Track KPIs for incubation success, such as startup funding rates, job creation, and health-tech impact.
