Dr Deepashree M R is a Healthcare Management professional with a background in Ayurveda. She completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from the Government College of Ayurveda, Mysore, in 2011 and a Post Diploma in Healthcare Management from IIHMR Bangalore in 2013. Within 5+ years of professional experience in health project implementation, training and documentation, she has worked in various capacities as Director of Projects, Researcher and CSR – Executive. While working as the Director of Projects at National Level NGO Karuna Trust, she was instrumental in designing and implementing several projects related to health, ICT technologies in healthcare, quality assurance, family planning and PPP projects on health. She was also the ISO internal auditor and trainer for basic-level health workers on quality assurance at primary healthcare centres. As a researcher at IIHMR Bangalore, she involved herself with projects related to mother and child nutrition and tribal health. At the same time, she was working as a CSR executive at Lowe’s India Pvt. Ltd. She was responsible for implementing livelihood and environment activities and NGO Management. She is proficient in networking with development partners, project management and NGO Management. Currently, she is involved in managing ECCD field operations in urban slums.
