Brief Biography
Dr. Kirti Udayai has a rich experience of more than 14 years in the healthcare industry and academics. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at IIHMR, Bangalore. An academician by heart, Dr. Kirti has an interest in research on behavioural change communication, nudging, and social marketing. Besides research and academics, she has been actively liaising with corporates to mentor the workforce and training them on skill building. She has published papers in journals of national and international repute and chaired International Conferences of Public Health in Sri Lanka and Malaysia in the last five years. As a certified National Assessor for National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, she is responsible for assessing public healthcare facilities across India for quality improvement.

- Assessment of Urban Primary Health Centers (UPHCs) in National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, Gap assessment study of 135 UPHCs against National Quality Assurance Standard, developed by NHSRC. Led a team of 140 students and researchers.
- A study the Fuctioning of Hospital Administration, Oil India Hospital, Duliajan, Oil India Ltd
- Assessing Value for Money of Health Interventions of DFID in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa – DFID supports financial and technical assistance in health, nutrition and sanitation areas in its three focus states in India – Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa. The study developed five case studies on quality in hospitals, community mobilisation, water, and sanitation.
