Before joining IIHMR, she has worked in NGO, Health Tech Company, Maastricht University and Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.  She worked at the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Karnataka, contributing immensely to strengthen government hospitals into teaching institutes by starting the DNB, Diploma, and Paramedical courses.
