Dr. Shreekant G. Naik has pursued his Ph.D. in Management from Jain University, Bengaluru and PGDM in Marketing Management from KLS IMER, Belagavi. He has completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Karnataka University, Dharwad.

His teaching and research interests include Pharma Marketing, Strategic Management, Branding, Sales Management, and CRM. He has published research publications in revered journals (Web of Science, Scopus indexed), renowned conferences, and has done consultancy assignments for CREDAI, Foundry, hospitality area and training Sales force of CureZen Pharma, Hyderabad.

Before joining IIHMR-B, he had worked with MITE- Mangalore, KLS IMER Belagavi and in Adept IMSR, Dharwad.

Prior to academics he has worked with well-known pharmaceutical companies like Morepen Labs, Novo Nordisk, Ranbaxy and Abbott Healthcare in the Sales and Marketing area.
