BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
Gowtham is a trained Social Worker with an experience of more than ten years in the health sector; he has gained expertise in conducting health surveys and program evaluations. He has been part of national and state level large scale surveys of repute, like National Family Health Survey (NFHS), District Level Household Survey (DLHS) and Facility survey under RCH program.
Before joining IIHMR Bengaluru, Gowtham worked as a Senior Research officer at IIHMR, Jaipur and has conducted multiple studies and projects on monitoring, assessment /evaluation of various health programs in India and Afghanistan. He has upgraded his skills by attending Public Health program at Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University, USA and IIHMR University, Jaipur. His areas of interest are Programme Evaluation, HIV/AIDS and Social Protection. He is equally engaged in the areas of Child Health, Public Health research and proficient in using quantitative methodology.
