BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Mrinmoy Roy is a seasoned Pharma Industry professional with 13+ years of cross-functional experience in the industry across different segments of diverse therapeutic areas and multiple roles & responsibilities in India & abroad. Recently, he has launched PGDM Pharmaceutical Management Program in IIHMR Bangalore in the Academic year 2020-2022 by spearheading the course curriculum and structure of the same. He has expertise in diverse therapy areas of Pharmaceutical Sales & Marketing, Product Management and Marketing ranging from generating revenue through generating prescriptions, launching new products, and making them big brands with continuous strategy execution at the Physician and Patients level. In his career he moved from Sales to Marketing and Business Development for 3.5 years in Southeast Asian Market operating from Manila, Philippines. Came back to India and handled and developed Brands such as Gluconorm, Lupisulin, Supracal, Absolut Woman, Hemozink, Fabiflu (For COVID 19), and many more. In his last assignment with AstraZeneca, he used to develop and execute strategies on Sales & Marketing, Commercialization & Business Development for Institutional Business portfolio of Oncology Therapy Area. Mrinmoy is also a Research Scholar on ‘Operations Research & Management in Healthcare: Artificial Intelligence’ and published many research papers and book chapters on the same in Internationally reputed journals and Books indexed in Scopus, Springer and Ei Compendex, Google Scholar etc.
