Since its inception in 2004, IHMR Bangalore has voyaged a series of research projects, studies and developments in Health and Hospital management, monitoring and evaluation, policy development, implementation/action research, demographic and health surveys and quality accreditation of hospitals. The thrust areas where IIHMR Bangalore has proved its mettle include PPP evaluation, evaluation of national health programmes, health sector reforms, NABH/ISO certifications/accreditations, maternal, child & adolescent health, etc. IIHMR Bangalore constituted a Research Advisory Committee (RAC) on January 23rd, 2015, to serve as a forum to discuss issues in the direction of development of the research potential and capability and to support in promoting and coordinating research work at IIHMR Bangalore.
The Objectives of The Committee are
- To review the research activities of the Institute
- Promoting and coordinating research capabilities of IIHMR Bangalore
- Provide strategic guidance for high-level research
- To streamline the process of developing research proposals and establishing mechanisms for coordinating research at different levels
- To facilitate communication and advocacies bound on the research out.
