About Pharmaceutical Management
By pursuing a PGDM in Pharmaceutical Management, any professional will get the opportunity to extend their knowledge of pharmaceutical science and the effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. Moreover, this course enables them to advance their business management skills and understand the fundamentals of pharmaceuticals.
The main aim of PGDM in Pharmaceutical Management is to prepare students for managerial positions in the pharmaceutical industry, Hence, it involves courses that hone skills related to planning, consultancy, problem-solving, and management techniques. Moreover, during this course, students are trained in pharmaceutical management, technology management, and advanced business concepts of this industry.
Program Objectives (pEOs):
The IIHMR, Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management is designed to ensure that our students are fundamentally equipped with appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitude. Within four to five years of course completion, our students will be able to:
- PEO1: Assume leadership roles in their chosen discipline of the Healthcare Industry
- PEO2: Apply the concepts and techniques of Modern Management in their workplace
- PEO3: Demonstrate their skills and knowledge in Planning, Building and Effectively managing Healthcare Organisations

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduates from any educational background can apply for the PGDM (MBA Equivalent) programme. Candidates should have a min of 50% marks in their Graduation.
- Students appearing for the final year exam can also apply for provisional admission (Can submit the provisional degree certificate/marks sheet/other documents before the commencement of the programme).
- Candidates must have a valid Management Aptitude Test score (CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, KMAT)
- Candidates with professional experience and defence personnel are also encouraged to seek admissions for career change/development.

Shortlisted applicants will be called for Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI).
Final selection will be based on the GD/PI performance and evaluation scorecard.

- We will send you the manual application form. You can take a printout, fill it out by hand, scan and send it back by e-mail to admissions@iihmrbangalore.edu.in. You can also submit the original hard copy of the form when you come to campus directly.

- Any student, who has secured more than or equal to 75% aggregate marks, would be eligible for the scholarship of 50% tuition fee waiver in the 1st year.
- SC/ST/OBC and Economically weaker section (EWS), who has secured more than or equal to 50% aggregate marks, would be eligible for the scholarship of 50% tuition fee waiver in the 1st year
- 50% concession on the total fee for the serving army officials joining the PGDM program.

Formula for Scholarship Calculation
Total marks obtained in all semesters in UG / Maximum marks X 100
- Any student, who has more than 60% aggregate marks in MBBS, would get a scholarship of 50% tuition fee of 1st year of PGDM.
- Any student, who has more than 50% and less than 60% aggregate marks in MBBS, would get a scholarship of 20% tuition fee of 1st year of PGDM.
(Note: The Scholarship would be provided as a fee waiver in the Third/ Fourth Installment fee payable for the PGDM Course.)
Scholarships are on first come first serve merit basis subject to fulfilling the above criteria.

The course is approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA, NABET, and AIU. Hence, all major banks will be willing to provide educational loan for this course. The Institute will support and facilitate the student with the bank loan-related documents required from the Institute. Students can obtain bank loan documents from our Accounts Department after paying the first Installment fee.
