Job Summary:
A diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive who will be responsible for recording financial transactions, verification and filing of financial records, compilation of management report data and execution of finance department functions as required.
♦ Recording the accounting entries in Tally through Cost Center Accounting,
♦ Monthly Bank reconciliation
♦ TDS & GST Records maintenance and reconciliation
♦ Liaison work with banks,
♦ Maintaining of Petty Cash and staff advances
♦ Preparation & Maintenance of Research Grants financials
♦ Preparing and submitting of ESI & PF Statements on monthly basis
♦ Verification of bills pertaining to Accounts
♦ Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software
♦ Co-ordination/Liaison with various departments (both Internal as well as External) as and when required
♦ Any other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
♦ Bachelor’s degree in commerce (Accounting and/or Finance)
♦ Professional accounting certification is an advantage.
♦ Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance in education/research sector.
♦ Proficiency in accounting software (TALLY).
♦ Minimum Microsoft office proficiency level: Intermediate
♦ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
♦ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
♦ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
♦ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
♦ Effective communication and interpersonal skills
