BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Rajeshwari B. S., a Public Health Professional, is the Assistant Professor at IIHMR, Bengaluru. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and more than 10 years of research experience, she has the right mix of experience and education. She is the recipient of the Nuffic Fellowship (2016-2020) for her PhD titled ‘Performance of Primary Healthcare Centres in Bengaluru Urban District: An Evaluation’ from the Care and Public Health Research Institute (CAPHRI), Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Life Sciences (FHML), Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
She is proficient in qualitative and quantitative research methodology in health care with an interest in health services research, healthcare technology assessment, healthcare planning and management. She is efficient in evidence generation & presentation through a methodological approach and a strong drive to see things through to completion. Before this, she has worked at the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Karnataka, contributing immensely to establishing government hospitals into teaching institutes by starting the DrNB, DNB, Diploma, and Paramedical courses. She believes that research and innovation in health systems is the way forward to achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
