Brief Biography

Thought leader and responsible for all core areas of operations and administration of IIHMR, Bangalore. Dynamic teacher focused on providing students of higher education by providing rigorous, creative, and challenging learning classroom environment along with opportunity for developing confidence, broader thinking and skills required to build a framework for success and balanced personality. Advance student learning through innovative course work, stimulating assignments, projects, case studies and group work formulated on best practices, emerging knowledge/skill trends, use of technology, research-based knowledge, and personal decisions.

Introductory and Applied Courses: Psychology, Organization Behaviour, Consumer Behaviour, Communication (Professional/Technical/Oral-written & Strategic-PR & Advocacy), Research Report Writing, Interpersonal Skills and Health: Personality-Stress-Conflict-Motivation-Leadership-Counselling

  Management and Advanced Courses: Principles of Management (Fundamentals and applied to Hospital, Health, IT), Marketing, Quality, HRM, Strategy & Planning and Entrepreneurship.

Engaged and highly involved in many areas of Health Systems Research, IEC/BCC, Maternal-Child-Adolescent Health & Nutrition/WASH/Child Protection, Consultancy (Education/School, Strategic Analysis, Programme Impact, and Medical Device Marketing) and Training. Expertise in mixed methodology and end to end project management.

As Director, responsible for all administrative and management of IIHMR’s verticals of Academics, Research & Consultancy and Training, networking/collaborations for South Campus at Bangalore.

I) . Experience in allied health/disability, communication, entrepreneurship, management, and healthcare services with a strong academic/research experience.

II). Expertise in mixed methodology and end to end project management

III). Professional Experience is in two main domains: Speech Therapy/Audiology and Teaching/Research for higher education.
