Role of Stem Cells in the treatment of Cancer Megha Dhananjay

The treatment of cancer is very extensive, involves a lot of side effects, very expensive, etc . Some of the cancer patients are not even able to access the resources, some of the cancer patient’s families slip below poverty line due to the high costs of the cancer treatment and some patients cannot withstand the side effects of the treatment.
The secondary data is obtained by doing online research using the GOOGLE Scholar search engine. The data type was qualitative. Targets groups were patients of all age groups having cancer. There are many advancements expected in the field of cancer using stem cells. There is hope that the advancements made, and the newer techniques are much affordable and accessible to common man than a decade ago and might also cure cancer completely someday.
